Wonderware Corporationmpany%> (Irvine, Calif.) and Canary Labs announced that Canary Labs' Trend Link 4.0 software will be marketed by Wonderware as part of its FactorySuite Partners Program. Canary Labs (Martinsburg, Pa.) specializes in plant-wide trending solutions which allow users to select, view and analyze high volume process data.

Trend Link 4.0 is a trend viewer client that allows industrial automation users to display data from Wonderware's IndustrialSQL Server real-time relational database. Trend Link is an ActiveX control that seamlessly drops into containers such as Wonderware's InTouch HMI software for accessing, viewing, analyzing and manipulating process data.

"TrendLink's powerful trending capabilities complement FactorySuite by simplifying access to and visibility of data collected within IndustrialSQL Server. Trend Link can connect to multiple IndustrialSQL servers, can show multiple independent scaling ranges, contain various drawing methods and provide flexible presentation of the data," says Ted Hill, IndustrialSQL Server product manager at Wonderware.

The Wonderware FactorySuite 2000 software toolkit is an integrated set of Windows NT-based application development modules used to configure factory automation systems for supervisory control and data acquisition; PC-based control; WIP tracking; batch process management; and the IndustrialSQL Server real-time relational database. Wonderware is a unit of British-based Siebe plc and a member of the Siebe Intelligent Automation division.
