TOPDOC is SoftPLC's Program Development & Monitoring Tool:
SoftPLC systems are programmed and maintained with TOPDOC, SoftPLC Corp.'s feature-rich offline/online program development, monitoring, documentation, and testing package.
TOPDOC provides a multitude of productivity enhancing features that make program development and annotation easy and painless. Choice of user interface (menus or hot-keys) makes TOPDOC easy for both regular and infrequent users. Complete on-screen help is also provided.
On-line, TOPDOC provides monitoring and troubleshooting tools like I/O forcing, contact histogram, on-line programming, difference detection, data table watch windows, and more. TOPDOC also provides a PID loop display and a PID auto-tuning utility.
Some TOPDOC Features:
  • Multi-file, cut & paste editing
 - load multiple programs or program segments into memory and easily cut/paste/copy logic and/or documentation, address search & replace makes customization easy
  • Scroll Recall - TOPDOC remembers the last 20 entries so you can quickly retrieve similar instructions, make minor changes, and enter logic quickly
  • Powerful data table editor includes features such as non-sequential data display, copy range of values, documentation display, variable data format, and more
  • Annotation database includes 5x13 descriptions, plus a 13 character tagname - in dbf format for easy editing or plant-wide reporting outside of TOPDOC. Rung comments of virtually unlimited size are also supported.
  • Troubleshooting tools are available off-line and on-line: non-sequential rung display, zoom from ladder to data and vice versa, fault status display, memory configuration display, and many more
  • Hard copy reports include features to save paper, yet present a lot of detailed information. TOPDOC's 3-pass cross-reference ensures you know exactly how and where each bit/word/file in memory is used.
