The Sensor Highway Starter System, a continuous surveillance vibration monitoring system, is self-contained and designed to accommodate up to 48-two-wire sensors. The system comes equipped with Vibralarm supervisory software, including remote access. The system can be installed and operational in one day. The open-architecture design provides expansion capabilities up to 4,080 sensor ports for complete plant-wide surveillance. Packaged in a single compact NEMA-12 enclosure, the enclosure holds a Pentium-equipped CPU with hard, disk and CD-ROM drives, plus a modem. Other components housed in the enclosure include a Sensor Highway C-200 Controller and 48-channel Transducer Address Module. Additional components separate from the enclosure include a monitor, keyboard, color printer, and mouse.
