The Serial EDAS product line includes software to allow RS-232 devices to communicate with almost any computer including PCs, Macs, Unix, VAX and AS400s. The COM Port Driver software allows serial ports on remote units to appear to Windows applications as local serial ports on the PC. For other platforms, the Net Link drivers allow users to develop their own custom interface using TCP/IP. The Ethernet/Serial converter is suited for connecting RS-232 to devices such as terminals, scales, bar code scanners, machines, instruments, PLCs, controllers, gauges, and smart sensors.
