N/Aal Safety Mat system offers flexibility and reduced operator fatigue for guarding personnel around hazardous machines. The system consists of a UM-series mat and a MC-3 controller. The system can be used to monitor an entire hazardous area and can simplify routine tasks such as machine setup, maintenance and repair. Potential applications include welding robots, assembly machinery, material handling, packaging machinery, punches, presses, and robotic work cells. Available in a variety of standard sizes, the mats features good chemical and abrasion resistance, protection against delamination, and a two-piece trim for simplified installation and a custom appearance. MC-3 controllers are safety category 3 devices and require 24-VDC input power.
