Reflective Memory is a high speed, real-time, deterministic network
Reflective Memory is a high speed, real-time, deterministic network. With Reflective Memory each node on the network has a local copy of shared data. The act of writing to the reflective memory causes the local data on all the nodes to be automatically updated. Reflective Memory allows applications on separate computers to share data without the evolvement of an operating system. VMIC offers reflective memory products that use cable and products that use fiber optics some of which are based on Fibre Channel technology. Reflective Memory has applications in many markets such as telecommunications, industrial automation, test and measurement, defense, data acquisition and control, medical, and others. Reflective Memory products are now available for PCI, PMC, CPCI, VME, and Multibus.
