Ready-to-run thin clients announced by HMW Enterprises and ACP

HMW Enterprises and Automation Control Products (Alpharetta, GA) announced a joint marketing effort aimed at the burgeoning thin client market. The companies have agreed to make the HMW Series 1500 Thin Client Operator Stations and ACP thin client software available in pre-qualified packages through their joint sales channels.

Based in Wanyesboro, PA, HMW Enterprises more than 30 years of experience in building standard and custom industrial workstations for hostile conditions-even explosive atmospheres up to Class I and II, Div 1 and 2. Options include purged versions and intrinsically safe systems.

The HMW 1500 Series - with Ethernet and serial ports and keyboard and mouse connectivity - make the switchover to Thin Client technology transparent at the operator level.

The HMW Series 1500 Thin Client line includes more than 18 versions of TFT touchscreen Operator Stations designed specifically for Thin Client applications. With built-in Ethernet and serial ports, the Series 1500 features the LAN/IO connectivity required for maximum benefit from the thin client architecture. Form factors include wall mount, rack mount, tilt/swivel stand, and stainless-steel housings. Standard sizes range from 10-in displays up to 15-in.
