Rotsy (Robot Off-Line Teaching System of Yaskawa) programming software simplifies robotic application development by implementing robot simulation on a PC. Users can model a proposed robot cell and perform test cycles before the system is built. The software runs under Windows 95 or NT and requires no special hardware. The software includes enhancements to its CAD-based features, including 3D design so users can easily model and lay out robot cells with peripheral equipment. The program includes standard, pre-modeled robots, grippers, conveyors, pallets, and other components. The software also features advanced layout design, cycle time calculations, job analysis and off-line teaching technology.
