Users can choose any combination of Function Block Diagram, Flow Chart and Visual Basic for Application worksheets to build process control logic and calculations. The software provides on-line editing so users can make changes at any time. It also includes special purpose documents that speed development of commonly used functions such as scheduling, recipe download, report generation, and data logging. The software includes drawing and animation tools to build HMI or diagnostic displays directly within the control programs. It operates as both an OLE for Process control client and server. It supports many fieldbuses, including Profibus, Interbus-S and DeviceNet.
