Rockwell Automationroactive Disaster Recovery Program (PDRP) helps minimize business interruption and includes pre-disaster preparedness and post-disaster relief. The program is designed to ensure that customers recover quickly from natural disasters. If a customer is victim to a natural disaster, the Recovery Team can be on the site within 24 hours to assist in the recovery efforts.
The program includes multiple planning stages before a disaster occurs. Personnel work with the customer to inventory all automation equipment in the plant, develop blueprints, coordinate schematics and outline critical components of the application. From this information a Disaster Recovery Plan is created that can be accessed by the Disaster Recovery Team, the local Rockwell Automation sales office and the local authorized Allen-Bradley distributor.
In phase II, the company works with Rockwell Collins to monitor changing weather patterns and identify potential natural disasters.
