Powerful And Versatile New Flat Panel Workstation Features 466 MHz Celeron CPU

Computer Dynamicsnamics, Inc. announces the introduction of the DisplayPac-COMMAND, the most powerful workstation in their DisplayPac family of flat panel computers. It is designed for industrial and machine control applications that demand the utmost power, functionality and ease of use from a compact computer.

The DisplayPac-COMMAND features a bright 15" XGA active matrix color TFT LCD, and is powered by an Intel Celeron 466 MHz processor. A resistive touchscreen, an integral full-function membrane keyboard and F1-F12 keys provide human-machine interface. The unit features an equally impressive selection of data storage and retrieval options: front-access 1.44M floppy drive for program loading; a side-access cartridge style CD-ROM; and a removable 6.4-gigabyte hard disk drive. Optionally, a PCMCIA drive is available to allow solid-state disk operation. Also facilitating ease of use are front- and rear-access serial, keyboard and parallel ports, and an Ethernet port.

For simple installation and on-site maintenance and upgrades, the entire computer housing can be detached from the front bezel using the side-mounted latches. One PCI expansion slot, one shared PCI/ISA slot, and three ISA slots provide for ample system expansion.

The DisplayPac-COMMAND measures 18.5" x 18" x 8" and meets NEMA 4/12, UL, CE/CSA and FCC Class "A" standards.
