Lighthammer Software Development Corporation of the Illuminator Plant Information Portal enables the visualization of information from any plant data source through any browser or Internet enabled device.

Some of the tools included in Lighthammer Software Development Corporation allow development of advanced Web pages by individuals with no background in HTML, Java, or VB Scripting. Illuminator 8.0 allows any company to begin an e-business strategy, connecting a broad set of data sources to any user's Thin Client Browser. Lighthammer Software Development Corporation provides a complete "point and click" menu approach to designing the attributes of the final displays.

From the perspective of the Thin Client User, Illuminator allows ad hoc queries of data tables, and provides an environment where the user can modify their personal desktop view of plant information. Password protection may be applied to these features, if desired.

Lighthammer Software Development Corporation also provides the Illuminator Database Connector (IDBC), which allows the user to query virtually any Relational Database target and visualize information through Illuminator's library of Java applets.

The Java applet suite has been expanded as well. Applets supporting a variety of Grids, Trends, Message Banners, Bar Charts, and Gauges pull data and display information to a wide population of users in any process or production facility.
