Osborn Architects-Engineers is the latest evolution of a century old company, The Osborn Engineering Company. Frank C. Osborn founded the company in 1892 to provide professional and technical construction design and consulting services for public agencies, business concerns, and educational institutions. At that time, a major need of our country was for more and better highways and railroads. It was natural, then, for early Osborn engineers to turn their attention to the designing of necessary bridges, viaducts, and similar structures. The quickly achieved eminence in these fields.

As assembly lines and the mechanization of industry afforded the "working man" with more leisure time, Osborn Engineering began engineering and designing sports facilities. Our first stadium, the original Fenway Park in Boston, was the beginning of a long line of sports facilities. More followed, including the Polo Grounds and Yankee Stadium in New York, Robert F. Kennedy Stadium in Washington D.C.(co-venture), Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh (co-venture), and the structural/foundation engineering for the Cleveland Indians Baseball Park (Jacobs Field) and the new Cleveland Browns Football Stadium. Osborn designed many sports facilities for colleges and universities, including Wisconsin, Purdue, West Point, Notre Dame, Michigan, and the Jerry West Arena at West Virginia University. Osborn is currently the lead architect on the Ohio State Stadium expansion.

Today, Osborn's designs can be found throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico - as well as europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, and many other countries. Osborn engineering professionals hold current passports to assist in Master Plans, Feasibility Studies, Design Engineering, Contract Documents, Construction Observations, Plant Start-up and Troubleshooting around the world.
