The S miniature models, with 6-mm solid or hollow shafts, have a 200-KHz maximum response frequency. The N models feature a compact body with 8-mm solid or hollow shafts and accept source voltages from 5-30 VDC. The GK models offer a heavy-duty 10-mm solid shaft and long-life bearing. The N and GK models have a protection rating of IP65 and have a maximum response frequency of 100 KHz. The NA series of absolute encoders is available in resolutions ranging from 5-10 bit Gray code outputs, with a 20-KHz maximum frequency response. All encoders feature a reinforced aluminum diecast casing, have an operating temperature range of –10 to +70°C and come equipped with a two-meter cable exit. Flexible couplings in aluminum- and glass-reinforced resin and mounting brackets will also be available.
