Optical Isolator

Using a standard DIN rail mounted package, this encoder interface lets you connect an encoder to a variety of controllers, or as a signal splitter to feed multiple input devices. This is a real problem-solver for difficult installations or retrofit applications. Since it provides an optically isolated signal and is available with one of four output driver options it is compatible with all major counter, drive and PLC components. Multiple modules can be daisy-chained together and drive as many as eight different devices from a single encoder (can be used in a master/slave relationship for synchronized control) or it can be used as a signal repeater to accommodate especially long cable runs.
