Operator Station

The HMI 2000 Series Operator Station is a Windows CE-based line that provides users and integrators a touch screen-activated interface with extremely rapid, high resolution displays, two Ethernet ports, and on-board connectivity to all commonly used field buses. The series features RISC-based architecture, which permits use in confined spaces because of low power usage and minimal heat build up. The stations can operate for long periods in high vibration environments because they do not have fans, hard disks, or other moving parts.

Stations come ready to connect to I/O, LAN, WAN, Ethernet, Internet, and most industrial field buses, and feature two on-board Ethernet ports, two serial ports, and optional SST Universal Communications System. The Windows CE operating system gives users access to a mature and open development environment, plus the convenience of instant on/off. The system also allows for a variety of mounting choices, and the NEMA 4 front face allows it to be used in wet industrial environments.
