ON/OFF Flow Sensor/Switch

Burkertensor/switch series is designed to switch a valve, relay or pump and establish an ON/OFF control loop. The sensor/switch measures flow rates from 0.6 f/s to 30 f/s and features a programmable set point which can be set either locally with the three push buttons on the display, or externally from a PLC/computer over a 4-20mA loop or ASI FieldBus. Output choices include a transistor output: 5-30 VDC, 700mA; or relay output – 250 VAC, 3A or 30 VDC, 3A.

Available for systems from 1/2in. to 2in. up to 230-psi in plastic, brass and stainless steel, the series has applications in industries where low cost, decentralized contrl loops are required to maintain a constant flow rate or to monitor min/max values of flow rates.

Equipped with a large LCD display, the unit indicates the actual process value digitally, and simultaneously as an analog bar graph for quick reference.
