NI Expands Low-Cost Data Acquisition Options to Laptop Computer Users
National Instruments announces its lowest cost E Series data acquisition (DAQ) device for PCMCIA. The high-performance DAQCard-6024E multifunction I/O device packs the functions and technologies of the Company's full-size, low-cost E Series DAQ devices into the PCMCIA form factor.
The DAQCard-6024E device delivers portable DAQ for a wide variety of applications, ranging from physiological monitoring to in-vehicle test.
The DAQCard-6024E features accurate, measurement-ready technology that delivers 12 bits of resolution at 200 kS/s on 16 single-ended or eight differential input channels. The device also features two 12-bit analog outputs, eight TTL digital I/O lines, and two 24-bit counter/timers. A shielded latching connector keeps the card's cable securely attached to the card.
The device ships with NI-DAQ 6.9, the Company's high-performance driver software. NI-DAQ is a powerful programming interface that has superior integration with LabVIEW 6i, Measurement Studio, and Microsoft Visual Basic for controlling NI PC-based data acquisition products. For connecting to a variety of sensors, the DAQCard-6024E works seamlessly with National Instruments low-cost, portable SCC signal conditioning products.
