MSDD Interface Units

The newly designed MSDD front panel interface unit provides access to internal PLC or industrial computer components and wires without opening the panel door. It offers ease of installation, the flexibility to have different interconnection devices without changing the size or mounting dimensions, and access to internal control systems without opening the enclosure doors.

The unit features spring-loaded doors that have a unique, no-snap-back mechanism integrated into the design. This feature allows for 0 to 180° door opening, allowing for full access to the external connections.

Mounting the MSDD front panel interface unit consists of making the proper cutout in the panel, inserting the unit, and tightening the screw end-clamps. The inserts are removable for easy wiring. The D-sub and RJ style connections are pass-thru, allowing for plug-and-play hookups. IP65 rating provides protection against the ingress of dust particles and indirect washdown.

The units are available in single and double door configurations. The MSDD units also come in a low-cost IP54-rated plastic housing.
