Model 330 Mechanical Vibration Switch

For low to medium speed machinery such as heat exchanger fans, cooling tower fans, reciprocating engines and reciprocating compressors. The switch monitors vibration in rotating machinery to protect and prevent catastrophic failures.

An inertia sensitive mechanism activates a snap-action switch with SPDT output contacts if the vibration exceeds an adjustable set point. Local and optional remote reset are available with start-up delay. SPDT contacts can be used to activate an alarm or initiate equipment shut-down. Model 330 is designed to meet requirements for mechanical switches in a single, affordable package.
