Metric Gears

Designing with metric gears just became easier with the introduction of a newly expanded series of metric gears from Quality Transmission Components. QTC now features approximately 3,400 products in 76 types of standardized 20 degree pressure angle metric gears.

The many different products now offered include: spur gears, internal gears, screw (crossed helical) gears, helical gears, racks, miter gears, bevel gears, worms and worm gears, duplex worm and worm gears, ratchets, involute spline shafts and gear couplings. A total of 14 different metric Modules are available, ranging from Module 0.5 to Module 10. Eleven different materials are used, from the very wear resistant case hardened steels to stainless steel to brass, aluminum and bronze, plus Nylon and Duracon for the molded gears. Gear tolerances for these products range from precision class ISO 5, equivalent to AGMA 12, to commercial grades. Among the many new products featured are a unique series of molded flexible gear racks which provide positive power transmission along curved surfaces. QTC now also offers over 1,300 spur gears which range in O.D. from 7 mm to 505 mm and in face widths from 3 mm to 90 mm.
