Pro-Point Model 2342 features an improved RS-232 interface which allows networking up to 20 units from a single controller. Using the optional multiplexor, the interfaces gives the flexibility to operate multiple units while downloading custom logos and graphics to the controller. Graphics files can be downloaded as a .pcx file or can be created using the controller's built-in logo editor. The simplified software makes it easier to design a message and offers various formats for time codes, standard and Julian date codes and serial numbers. With a permanent mark which cannot be scratched, smudged or removed with solvent, the marking system is suited for a variety of metals and plastic sup to 50 Rockwell C.
