Manufacturing system solutions provider Made2Manage Systems, Inc. (Indianapolis) announced a new Website designed to enable small and midsize enterprise (SME) manufacturers to leverage the Internet more effectively.

M2MEXPERT ( http://www.m2mexpert.com ) was developed for Made2Manage customers to help them improve individual skill sets and broaden their base knowledge throughout all levels of manufacturing.

The new site is a descendant of the corporation's original m2mEport.com site, which was divided into three new Web-based portals. Along with M2MEXPERT, the company is debuting M2MVIP (a customer collaboration and commerce portal) and M2MEXPRESS (an ASP hosted model Website) .

The three sites work together to provide tools for the SME market.

"The new economy allows our customers to capitalize on many opportunities," says David B. Wortman, chairman and CEO of Made2Manage Systems. "By taking advantage of M2MEXPERT, our customers can access information and services that strengthen their Made2Manage application and manufacturing skills without leaving their work site. By taking advantage of M2MEXPERT's Internet services, manufacturers can reduce operating costs."

The 24- hour, seven-days-a-week KnowledgeBase is getting strong support from Made2Manage users.

"This new site is very professional in appearance and ease of use,'' says Kenneth J. Papucci, CPA, controller/MIS director of Bethlehem Industries Inc. "The update to the bulletin board area is a significant enhancement. Keep up the great work."

M2MEXPERT focuses on the following objectives:

  • To be the customers' first, most often used and trusted source of information, tools, and services
  • To be an integral part of manufacturers' solution for success
  • To be an extension of customers' business resources
  • To provide access to information and assistance 24 hours a day, seven days a week
  • To reduce the time and cost to attain success.

The site features easy-to-find information and services for support, education, consulting, and customization. Made2Manage has also built a section of the site called "User2User" where customers can post questions on the bulletin board, get information about user groups, and share ideas. The site also features the industry's first live Web-based education service.

The site will continue daily content changes and will receive periodic updates driven by survey and questionnaires from the Made2Manage customer base.
