Low-cost pressure transmitter ideal for fluid & gas measurement

PSI-Tronix, a division of Scientific Technologies, introduces the PSI-4/20 Two-Wire Pressure Transmitter. Its stainless steel wetted surfaces make the PSI-4/20 compatible with most fluids and gases, and its small size (3 oz.) makes it ideal for use where space is a concern - without sacrificing high accuracy.

This CE listed transmitter offers highly accurate measurement with exceptional durability and long life, and is especially useful when there are great distances between the transmitter and the data acquisition system. It also provides infinite resolution, pressure ranges from vacuum to10,000 psi (gage or absolute), high burst pressure of 10x full scale, and ± .25% F.S. accuracy (± .10% F.S. optional).

The PSI-4/20 consists of piezoresistive semiconductor strain gages used in a full bridge circuit. The output from the bridge circuit is conditioned by an integral electronics package that generates a 4-20mA, two-wire output, proportional to input pressure.
