Low Cost 'Entry Level' Data Acquisition System

The 10KU-EL, a member of the System 10 family, provides 16-bit A/D conversion, combining accurate, remotely sensed excitation with separate amplifier, 3-pole filter and selectable digital smoothing for each input channel. Processing functions are performed completely independent of the computer at a typical speed of 2,500 finished answers per second, with a typical accuracy of 0.02% of full scale, following calibration. It interfaces with virtually any computer under any operating system, supplying the host computer with real-time finished engineering-unit data.

The Model 10KU-EL includes the following elements:

Daytronic Model 10KU mainframe and System 10 Windows-based configuration software;

Choice of one Analog Signal Conditioning Card (27 cards to choose from);

Model 10AIO-16 Universal Logic I/O Card;

Standard RS-232 interface Cable;

Choice of Windows-based DDE I/O server or National instruments LabVIEW driver

The 10KU-EL provides expansion slots for two additional Analog Signal Conditioning Cards, which may be purchased separately from the factory. (Contact Daytronic for price and delivery.) Should application requirements change, the highly flexible 10KU-EL allows users to add or replace plug-in Analog Signal Conditioning Cards quickly and easily in the field without computer reprogramming.
