The CP8 is a high precision linear positioner with non-recirculating ball or roller bearings for smooth carriage movement. It features an 8 x 2.5 in. cross section, leadscrew or ballscrew drive and 5- to 12-in. travel. This positioner is specified for bi-directional repeatability to 0.0001 in., drive accuracy to +0.0001 in./in. and linear speed to 10 in./sec. Available options include enhanced accuracy, motor adapters and linear encoders. The positioner is suited for many applications, including light duty assembly, component/sensor positioning and wafer handling.
