Linear Limit Switch
The ControLink BOLT BL Series Proximity Switch provides a compact design and the most economical solution for both visual and remote electrical indication of Linear valve/actuator position. The rugged design and variety of material options provide maximum application versitility. Choose LED (green or red) for local indication or no LED for explosion proof envionments.
Features:
1. Rugged design: The BOLT can be operated without an LED in Class 1, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, D, E and F hazardous locations (UL pending).
2. Standard Mounting: The BOLT utilizes industry standard 5/8-18 threads and each switch is provided with two heavy-duty jam nuts. The BOLT can be mounted with standard brackets or brackets can be customized to suit specific applications
3. Housing Materials: Rugged 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum housing will meet the needs of most applications while providing a cost and weight advantage. The Housing is also available in 303 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel and non-metallic delrin.
4. Visual Position Indication: The LED option is available with either a green or red lens to provide local indication for open or closed positions.
5. Multiple Switch Options: Choose Reed type switches for general-purpose applications, Bifurcated reed switches for low current applications or Vari-Sense proximity switch options for longer sensing distances.
6. Target Required: Each BOLT is provided with a magnetic target to ensure a positive trip. Only the magnetic target will trip the switch, potential false tripping from ferrous material is eliminated.
