Printronixeries of line matrix printers are built for quiet office, clean computer room and harsh industrial environments. The printers also deliver value in batch bar code label applications. There are five models in the series, with speeds of 500, 1,000 and 1,500 lpm. A pedestal model provides quick access to printed forms and small footprint; the cabinet model provides acoustic levels as low as 50 dBA. Euro character support through ISO-standard Latin 9 character set is available.
The printers also feature resident bar codes and scaleable fonts. Resident bar codes include: code 29, EAN 8, EAN 13, FIM, Interleaved 2/5, Postnet, UPC-A, and UPC-E. They also feature international applications support with resident character sets, including Multinational, ECMA 94 LatinI, DEC Multinational, IBM Code Page 437, and I50, OCR A, OCR B, Arabic, Cyrillic, Greek, Turkish, and Hebrew. Automatic I/O switching is supported between Serial, Parallel, Ethernet, and Coaz/Twinax.
