The CM300 Series RF Capacitance Level Transmitters are designed for continuous level measurement in conductive and nonconductive liquids, slurries and interface applications and is suited for measuring granular materials. The explosion-proof transmitters include adjustable output dampening to stabilize output in turbulent applications. Phase shift circuitry is incorporated to minimize the effects of conductive processes that have a tendency to coat the sensing probe causing measurement errors. The zero span adjustments are non-interacting for easier calibration, and the isolated 4-20 mA output is field selectable for direct or reverse acting operation. Additional features include coating rejection circuitry, probe lengths to 100 ft, integral or remote option and available FM or CSA certification.
The transmitters offer RFI, EMI and static discharge protection. The transmitter electronics can handle temperatures from –40 to 160°F, while the probe can handle temperatures from –40 to 450°F. The transmitters require 120/240 VAC+10%, 50-60 Hz, 18035 VDC and 6 watts power.
