Acuity Research Inc.eries of line scan camera laser displacement sensors has 11 models with full-scale measurement spans from 0.125 in. and an accuracy of 0.00015 in. up to a full scale span of 50 in. with accuracy of 0.05 in. The devices are suited for use in measurement systems and applications from 0.5 to 80 in. distance and operate at up to 1250 samples/sec. Automatic Exposure Control and Laser Energy Optimization adapts to dull or shiny surfaces, glossy paints of all colors and liquid surfaces. The sensors are designed for industrial equipment, automated manufacturing and inspection, non-contact inspection of isolated or hazardous materials, and multipoint profiling curtains. They are self-contained and NEMA-4/IP-67 sealed for wet and dirty environments.
