The new RS and RM series of Solid State Relays for resistive capacitive and inductive loads
The new RS and RM series of Solid State Relays for resistive capacitive and inductive loads up to
100 AACrms and 600 VACrms are characterised by the elimination of the moulding mass from the power and control circuitry. Based on proven technology the new SSRs incorporate features that optimise device performance, handling and mounting.
Two standard ranges one for resistive loads and one for resistive and inductive loads offer to users an application oriented choice in line with the needs.
All relays include LED indication as a standard feature and are touch protected with an easy to remove clip-on IP20 compliant cover. All input and output terminals are self-lifting and allow secure clamping of load cables up to 16mm2, while retaining the touch-safety feature.
Mounting holes are designed to withstand a fair amount of torque – up to 2 Nm – to ensure optimal installation and reduce the risk of excess or deficient assembly force.
The RM series includes a number of devices with built-in varistor and can handle direct start of motors up to 18.5 kW.
The RM and RS represent Carlo Gavazzi's commitment to continuous improvement and are based on established SSR technology, matured through years of direct co-operation with customers in automation and control. Both ranges are UL, CSA approved and CE marked.
