HMI/SCADA Software

eMation, Inc.Windows is a HMI/SCADA software package that delivers real-time and historical information form the plant floor to the boardroom. At the core of open architecture is WizPro, an event-driven kernel that manages an internal real-time database and distributes data to graphic displays, trends and alarm windows. Users can choose from over 500 pre-built, industry-standard graphic objects or custom create using graphical tools. These can be edited and changed on line while they are running and animated.

The software's zooming support allows the user to draw the entire plant in one large image and then zoom in on a selected area for more detail—without redrawing the picture. The software's Hot Backup is comprised of identical Master and Backup stations connected to the field I/O and the network. If the Master fails, the Backup station takes over all communication to the I/O and the network. The software features scalable networking which can include any combination of view stations, soft logic using WizPLC and soft process control with WizDCS. All nodes share a common tag database. The software integrates with other applications through support such as OLE for Process Control, ODBC, SQL, and DDE.
