This version of the software features extended redundancy to support redundant servers and SIMATIC S7 PLCs, improved diagnostics and a recipe/data management subsystem. It comes with multimedia options called Messenger and Guardian, as well as additional web browser control allowing online access for additional plant floor information. Messenger enables multimedia email exchange in the runtime environment. Guardian allows integrated video monitoring. These options aid in trouble shooting and real-time monitoring of plant operations.
