Galil Motion Control On The Move As Company Relocates To Rocklin, California
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., August 10, 2000- Galil Motion Control, Inc., pioneer and leader of digital motion control technology, today announced it is relocating its corporate headquarters to Rocklin, CA, just east of Sacramento, effective August 22, 2000.
"We're moving primarily because we'd like to offer our employees a better quality of life," said Jacob Tal, Galil founder and president. "We feel that in the Bay Area, between the cost of living, crowding and hectic pace that people have less time to spend with their families and it's impacting their lives."
The entire Galil operation- headquarters, research/development, and product support - will move into a new 30,000+ square foot building in the Atherton Tech Center in Rocklin, California. The company will maintain a direct sales office in the Silicon Valley and continue to sell through distributors located throughout the world.
Tal said Galil had also evaluated other sites before deciding on Rocklin. A leading factor, he said, was Rocklin's proximity to the Bay Area, making the move less demanding for employees who had family and other deep roots in the region.
