Electro-Sensors' Model 933 Explosion-proof Magneto Resistive Sensor is designed to provide a digital pulse output signal when used with magnetic targets such as Electro-Sensors' 60 Pole Pair Magnet Ring, Heavy Duty Pulsar Wraps, or Heavy Duty Pulsar Discs. The Model 933 Explosion-proof Magneto Resistive Sensor is Electro-Sensors' standard Magneto Resistive Sensor mounted in a cast aluminum enclosure which is C.S.A. approved and UL rated for Class I Groups C, D; Class II Groups E,F, G; Class III environments. The conduit opening is 1/2 inch NPT. It comes complete with 10 feet of 3 wire shielded cable, and a mounting bracket. The 933 is powered by 8-24 Vdc and has an NPN Open Collector output.Meets Explosion-proof Standards
Non-Contacting
Large Gap Distances
Complete with Mounting Brackets
8 - 24 Vdc Operation
NPN Open Collector Output
Maximum Switching Frequency of 20 KHz
Compatible with PLC Digital I/O's
The 933 is switched Low when the sensing surface is in the presence of a magnetic field and is switched High when the sensing surface is not in the presence of a magnetic field (the null space between magnets). This provides a digital square wave output signal. The gap distance between the sensing surface and the pulse generator is dependent on the strength of the target magnets. The signal produced by the 933 is compatible with most PLC digital I/O cards and with most products requiring a digital signal (frequency) for feedback.
