eurofast® Cordsets

TURCK Inc. has has announced new G-Series M12 Cordsets — extreme duty rubber cordsets designed to exceed most mechanical standards in punishing applications. G-Series Cordsets have a longer, heavier brass coupling nut that, combined with CPE rubber cable, will withstand the most punishing applications in automotive manufacturing, packaging OEM machines, chemical or processing plants and other industrial environments.

G-Series Cordsets withstand continuous exposure to oil, weld slag, solvents, lubricating and cutting fluids, ozone, UV light, abrasion, washdown, and vibration. The longer, heavier brass coupling nut enables them to tolerate repeated impact at the connection point without damage. During extensive field and lab testing, G-Series Cordsets exceeded SAE H1738-2 requirements by surpassing 200 lbs in the right-angle pull test. The cordsets also performed reliably in temperatures as low as –50°C (-60°F).

The G-Series M12 rubber cordsets are offered with 18 AWG CPE rubber cable with 3- and 4-pin conductors for cordsets and extensions in standard or custom lengths. TURCK offers rugged rubber cordsets in other product lines as well, including minifast® for AC and DC devices in 3- or 5-pin styles, with 18 or 16 AWG cable, and microfast® (dual-key for AC systems) in 3- and 5-pin styles with 18 AWG cable.
