Digital Indicator

The DMS420 process signal indicator features a switch mode power supply and dc excitation for field transmitters. Front panel controls allow the indicator to be programmed for voltage or current input by following a logical menu structure. Alarm levels, hysteresis, output span and modbus address can be set when the relevant pods are fitted.

Measurement accuracy for voltage or current input is 0.05% FS for all ranges with thermal drift effects quoted as 100ppm/oC over the indicator's –30 to +60oC operating range. Process values are displayed in engineering units to show a fixed number of decimal places or, in auto rounding mode, to always show the maximum resolution. Tension connectors are provided as standard and maintain the contact under permanent tension to produce resistance to vibration.
