Compumotor Driver

CTC Parker Automationpumotor driver has been released for the latest Interact version 6.0 HMI software. Pairing it with Compumotor's 6K hardware platform enhances motion control and simplifies machine design and electro-mechanical system integration.

The HMI allows 6K motion program files to be stores on the system's Compact Flash and be downloaded at the push of a button. It provides "terminal mode" operation for entering commands and monitoring responses, with the ability to access axis and system information.

A Graphics Monitoring Module lets users create graphics displays to make the operator interface as intuitive as possible to reduce training and support requirements. A Panel ToolKit Module provides a library of over 35 preconfigured 3D panel tools that can be used too construct the touchscreen equivalent of traditional control panels.

Common channel Ethernet communication enables high-speed response times in critical machine operations, while providing economical, open connectivity.

The new driver also allows use of Interact 6.0 HMI with Compumotor 6K controllers using Ethernet.
