At Chicago Gear Works, our goal is to produce top-quality commercial and industrial gears, better and faster than anybody else, and at competitive prices. That goal has not changed through our ninety years of continual operation. We manufacture a wide range of industrial and commercial gears, from 4 to 64 DP, in small lots to large runs and in varying materials, to meet your specific requirements.

Through expert engineering assistance coupled with complete in-house control of tooling, turning and secondary operations, we are your one source for all your custom gear requirements. Plus we offer an extensive selection of standard gears.

COMPANY HISTORY
Chicago Gear Works was founded by J. J. Quinn as the Chicago Stock Gear Works, operating out of a modest 600 square foot facility on Wells Street. In 1908, the company was renamed Chicago Gear Works, which truly reflects our status as custom gear specialists. Like the city that is our namesake, we have always been characterized by solid, progressive growth. After several relocations to progressively larger buildings, we moved into our present 52,000 square foot facility at 1805 S. 55th Avenue in Cicero, Illinois, directly bordering Chicago on the west, in 1988.

Since 1907, the company has continued to evolve to meet tomorrow's challenges head on, exploring all possible avenues to provide our customers with superior gears at competitive prices.
