The OmniTense Universal Tensioner protects drives and offers fast foolproof operation without the use of tools and eliminates the possibility of over tensioning. Requiring one hand to operate the tensioner renders correct tension anywhere along an infinite length of travel and uses a metal-to-metal lock-up without springs to provide drive tension. Idler-mount and motor-base designs are available. It can be mounted inside or outside belt path.
