AMCI Delivers New Drive Amplifiers and Stepper Motors
Advanced Micro Controls Inc. (AMCI, Terryville, Conn.), a developer of sensing and control devices for industrial automation, announced a series of drive amplifiers and a range of compatible stepper motors.
The line features the company's SD17063 drive amplifier and a range of compatible high torque stepper motors, all of which combine to deliver speeds up to 50 rps (3000 rpm), holding torque of up to 1125 oz. per in.
The drive amplifier features a 170 dc motor supply, which combines its 6.3 rms of output current to offer delivery of torque and acceleration and deceleration through the full speed range. The motors have been tested and selected to match the electrical requirements of the drive.
The products feature programmable motor current and microstepping. An antiresonance feature provides midrange stability. The amplifier also features an external reset for clearing diagnostic faults and a self-test mode.
AMCI's new motion control products are available from local Allen Bradley distributors.
