ADT-A Series Air Servo

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments (SSI), a developer of analytical and testing equipment in the U.S., announced the launch of the ADT-A Series Air Servo Fatigue and Endurance Testing Systems. According to Shimadzu, from the automotive industry to the university research lab, the new instruments are believed to address the need for small scale testing with excellent waveform repeatability.

The ADT-A Series features pneumatic operation, reducing the impact on the surrounding environment and allowing low-force fatigue and endurance testing with precision control. Unlike many pneumatic cylinders, the instrument features an air servo valve, offering distinct advantages over conventional solenoid on/off control. The instrument is designed for a wide range of applications from testing biomaterials to electrical parts in fields from communications to industrial testing.
