Marlton, NJ Acsis, Inc. announced that its Acsis Plant Manager solution has earned "Powered by SAP NetWeaver" status. To achieve this status, Acsis has successfully tested its SAP NetWeaver Exchange Infrastructure (SAP NetWeaver XI)-based Content Package and SAP NetWeaver Portal-based Business Package for Production Order Processing, thus seamlessly integrating this important process between the SAP ERP Central Component Release 5.0 and Acsis' Data-Link Enterprise. Achieving Powered by SAP NetWeaver status assures that the Acsis Plant Manager solution integrates production order processing with SAP solutions through the SAP NetWeaver platform.
The Acsis Plant Manager solution is designed to allow manufacturing personnel to easily retrieve, track and execute confirmations against orders. In addition to achieving qualification as Powered by SAP NetWeaver, the Acsis Plant Manager solution utilizes the SAP xApp Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP xMII) composite application to deliver real-time manufacturing analytics for manufacturing management and operations personnel.
"By attaining Powered by NetWeaver status, we have completed the next step in our plan to partner with SAP to simplify linking devices such as RFID, barcode, scales and printers with customers' investments in the mySAP ERP application," said Steve Selfridge, Chief Executive Officer of Acsis, Inc. "We are enabling our customers to drive significant productivity improvements by extending the real-time visibility and analytics to this class of devices. This solution also integrates with the SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure, enabling our clients to utilize state-of-the-art RFID technology to track and trace their products throughout the supply chain."
Acsis Plant Manager Production Order Processing is powered by SAP NetWeaver. The SAP NetWeaver platform powers the mySAP™ Business Suite family of applications, SAP xApps packaged composite applications, and partner solutions. SAP NetWeaver unifies integration technologies into a single platform and is pre-integrated with business applications, enabling change and reducing the need for custom integration.
