4/8 Channel 8 Bit Digital to Analog converter & programmable gain amplifier

Available in either 4 or 8 channel versions the LPT8DA8 provides 4/8 8 bit D/A outputs. These output voltages are scaled versions of either the 2.560 Volt onboard precision reference or a selected external value. With the addition of jumpers at the desired channels programmable gain scaling of the input signals is possible. Programmable gains in the range of G= 0 to G = 16 in 256 steps are possible. (An 8 bit word of &H01 yields a gain of 1/16; a word of &H20 yields a gain of 2). D/A or PGA functions are jumper selectable.

The LPT8DA8 has a DB25 female connector and 26 pin header strip for analog outputs, inputs and reference selection. This board supports the LPTek mezzanine bus and 1 or more of these boards may be located within LPTek's TMCport.
