Software Enhancement

Honeywell Industrial Controlcapabilities reduce database management time. This productivity software system features many database management documentation capabilities that will save users significant time in managing their system. The features include File Capture Wizard, FSC Viewer, Array Analysis tool, DS Manager enhancements, and an Import Integrity Utility.

The file capture wizard is an enhancement to the import function in the product. The wizard helps create executable command files that can be used to collect the information necessary for import into the item. The FSC viewer expands the capabilities of the PLC manager in the product. This feature allows a user to import function logic diagrams and fail-safe controller databases, and to display the relationships with TPS tags. The point-and-click interface makes maintenance easier by enabling a user to browse plot files and display FSC logic and I/O. The array analysis tool provides easy viewing of tags, array points, box addresses, and reserved elements associated with each data type, allowing the quick detection of overlaps in array element usage. A right-click on any box variable shows the associated control language (CL) code. The product is available as a standalone application or in a network environment with unlimited users.
