Exhibited at NI Week: Chassis

ViaSat Inc.MD-200 MiniDAT, analog or digital data can be collected and transmitted using license-free spread spectrum communication over the 2.4-GHz ISM wireless band. The chassis acquires as many as 16 single-ended or eight differential analog signals with up to 16-bit resolution, at rates up to 250 kilosamples/sec. Input gain and sample rates are programmable. A two-way link connects each remote unit to a base station, which consists of a PC equipped with a wireless transceiver card. The software runs BridgeVIEW or LabVIEW software for Windows. Two Type II-sized cards provide full functionality. It can operate in harsh remote environments, collecting data unattended while providing wireless remote access to the user.
