AC Tech has pioneered developments in AC variable frequency drives such as reliable operation of 575 volt motors, severe-duty enclosed inverters such as NEMA 4 and stainless steel NEMA 4X and straight forward programming using real-language displays. AC Tech had the first commercially available inverter using the "intelligent power module" (IPM) which is now state of the art in drive manufacture.

This tradition of innovation continues with the Electronic Programming Module (EPM) used on the new SCF Series drive. This concept provides capabilites never possible before:
