The SCN Series - Sub-micro AC drive
Designed to work with standard 230 volt three-phase motors, models are available to operate from 120 volt single-phase, 230 volt single-phase or 230 volt three-phase. Power ranges from ¼ hp to 3 hp (0.2 kW to 2.2 kW).
AC Tech has proven that the promise of the variable frequency drives has arrived! It is now economically justifiable to take advantage of true motor control in place of two-speed or reversing starters, soft-starters, adjustable pitch pulleys or dc drives!
This family of variable frequency drives delivers breakthrough pricing plus superior performance in contactor style packaging.
…plus smoother acceleration and deceleration than soft starts!
…plus reversing with lower machine stress than reversing starters.
…plus multiple speed selection without expensive 2-speed starters.
…plus accuracy and stability of digital controls!
…minus the extra cost of those old solutions!
The User Manual and Quick Reference Guide for the SCN Series Drive, and all AC Tech drives, are available in the AC Tech Library on our website.

SCN Options
DIN Rail Mounting Kit:
Allows easy mounting of the SCN Drive onto standard DIN Rail.
Dynamic Braking Kit:
Prepackaged resistor modules with control electronics provide easy mounting within the control cabinet.
Through Hole Mounting:
The SCN Series can be ordered for through hole mounting that puts the drive heat sink outside the electrical enclosure for better thermal management and space savings. Ships on black anodized heat sink with gasket that will meet NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X (IP65) construction.
EPM Programmer:
This compact battery operated option allows programming the EPM (on the front of each drive) directly and without power to the drive!
Copy drive parameters easily or write new ones using the backlit LCD display that uses real language programming.
