Design & Simulate Your Motion Control System Without Hardware

Many times we find that many of the problems fielded by ACS-Tech80's application department lie in poorly thought out motion control systems. Balancing all of the design issues and requirements for these type of systems is not easy, even for an experienced engineer.

For this reason, we developed the System Sizing & Simulation Software. This DOS-compatible tool allows you to first map out the application using the complete calculations for all loads, speeds and other factors and then develop the motor, amplifier and power supply specifications to choose the right controller and motor package for your project. You can then enter these selected controller and motor specifications into the program to verify usability.

Since this program does not require any hardware to run, users are not restricted to products that are only offered by specific controller and motor vendors.

Second, this design programs acts as an off-line motion system modeling software. It helps you design system components and check performance before running any hardware by entering information such as motor data, mechanical data, encoder resolution, gain and motion profile. You'll quickly come to rely on the System Sizing & Simulation Software during the initial stages of application development.
