Acme has introduced a line of low voltage lighting power supplies with the added convenience and versatility of a timer and photocell. The new units are in addition to the extensive Acme line of low voltage power supplies and transformers for applications ranging from indoor decorative and theater lighting to outdoor landscape and pool & spa lighting.

The new units feature a 24 hour timer that is easily set for multiple on/off cycles in 30 minute increments. The photocell turns lights on and off automatically at dusk and dawn. A three position on/off/auto timer switch allows complete user versatility of the lighting system. Together, the timer and photocell can be programmed to create a variety of customized lighting effects.

All units are UL 1012 listed for outdoor use and feature a fully encapsulated core and coil design to protect against moisture. A full fault current carrying Faraday shield is standard to minimize the possibility of feed through of 120 volts to the low voltage system as required by UL 1571 and 1838.

A voltage regulation switch has 11V, 12V and 13V settings to allow for voltage drop over long runs of lights. An auto-thermal reset (100-300 Watt) prevents the transformer's primary from being overloaded for added safety. Overload protection on the secondary side is provided by manual reset circuit breakers. A 6' power cord and plug are standard for incoming 120V power.

The wiring compartment has generous space for easy wiring of the secondary screw lug terminals. As an added safety feature, a deadfront cover prevents accidental contact of live parts during reset of the timer, circuit breaker or other components. Mounting of the units is accomplished through slotted mounting brackets.

Low voltage power supplies with timer and photocell are presently available in 100, 150, 300 and 600 watt models for either 120V primary, 12V secondary or 120V primary, 12/24V secondary systems. They are covered by Acme's exclusive 10 year warranty.
